Overview
A satin or wet look finish Patio & Block Paving Seal that will enhance and protect your patio, driveway, or path. Formulated to resist algae growth and to protect against oil and fuel stains, it will give you weather resistance in just one hour.

Preparation
Always ensure the area to be painted is free from dust, dirt and anything that may affect adhesion.
- Always ensure the surface is dry before you start.
- Scrub the surface with a still bristle brush to remove any dust or dirt.

- Make sure any cleaners are rinsed off the patio & it’s dry.
Application
The colour & appearance of block paving can change significantly with the application of Thompson’s Patio & Block Paving Seal. Always test a small area first before coating the whole area. We recommend following the manufacturer's instructions found on the tin.
- Don’t apply if it's raining or forecast to rain, and when temperatures are below 10°C.
- Shake the tin to mix the contents.
- Apply using a long pile roller in long smooth strokes.
- Ensure none of the product puddles, ensure to spread out into dry areas.
- Remove any splashes whilst still wet with White Spirit.
- Allow to dry for 4 hours before applying a second coat.
- Rough surfaces may require another coat.
- Avoid heavy foot traffic and parking your car onto treated surfaces for at least 24 hours after application. Thompson’s Patio & Block Paving Seal will achieve its full hardness within a few days of application.
In cold, damp conditions drying and recoating times will be extended.
Aftercare & Storage
Surfaces should be routinely cleaned using Thompson’s Patio & Paving Cleaner. Treated areas should be recoated approximately every 2 years depending on use.
Keep container tightly closed. Observe label precautions. Store between 5 and 25°C. Keep in a cool, dry, well ventilated place away from heat and sources of ignition and direct sunlight.
